Kosmos Miller Is Laid To Rest After Last Rites

Brillion, Wis., Special. – Last rites for Kosmos Miller, aged 59, who
passed away early Friday morning following a heart attack while he was
working in his garden near this village, were conducted at 9 a.m.
Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church here. Interment was in the
Catholic cemetery north of the village.
Deceased was born in 1882, at Maple Grove and in 1907 was married to
Caroline Pritzl. He served as clerk of the Town of Maple Grove and
was a member of the school board of that district for a number of
years. He was a member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin and also
the Holy Name Society.
Fifteen children were born of this union of who 13 are still living.
Survivors are the widow; six sons, Lawrence, Vincent, Phillip and Carl
of Maple Grove, Norbert who is with the overseas forces of the U.S.
Army, and Kosmos Jr., of Janesville; eight daughters, Sister Laverne
of Holy Family convent, Silver Lake, near Manitowoc; Mrs. Alex
Fischer, Route 1, Reedsville; Mrs. Ray Lang of Manitowoc; Mrs. Ed.
Schuh of Maple Grove; Catherine, Marion, Gertrude and Josephine at
home; one sister, Mrs. Francis Kleiber of Manitowoc, and on brother,
John of Brillion.
