Mrs. Cleon Seeley

Edmeston-Mrs. Rubie M. Seeley, wife of Cleon Seeley, died Friday in Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneonta.

She was born in West Winfield, daughter of Charles and Mary Harrington Ashley. She attended schools in that area. In 1897 she was married to Arthur D. Prosser. He died in 1955. Two years later she was married to Mr. Seeley. Mrs. Seeley was a Methodist.

Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Louis D. Prosser, Utica; a daughter, Mrs. Elden Gage, New Berlin; four sisters, Mrs. Edith Chase, Mrs. Lena Chase, Mrs. Clifford Cobb and Mrs. Ernest Webb, all of New Berlin; two brothers, George Ashley, Otis Asley, Hartwick. (Newspaper is cut off so I can't read name)

The funeral will be at Monday from the Dakin Funeral Home, New Berlin, with the Rev. Donald L. Aubrey, Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in the spring.

*Arthur and Ruby possibly had another daughter named Edith that was born in 1904 when they lived in Frankfort. I have not been able to locate her burial site at this time.
