MRS. SPENCER IS DEAD AT 80

New Berlin-Mrs. Amanda Adelle Spencer, 80, of New Berlin, RD 3,died Tuesday at Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta, after a long illness.

She was born April 27, 1875, the daughter of Charles C. and Mary F. Harrington Ashley, in East Winfield. She married Albert D. Spencer, who died in 1927.

She is survived by two sons, John Spencer of New Berlin, RD 3, and Walter Spencer of Frankfort; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; six sisters, Mrs. Myra Marriott of West Winfield, Mrs. Ruby Prosser, Mrs. Bertha Webb, both of Pittsfield, Mrs. Lena Chase, both of New Berlin, and Mrs. Bessie Sconetic of East Winfield; two brothers, Otis Ashely of Mount Vision and George Ashley of East Syracuse, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Dakin Funeral Home, New Berlin, at 2 p.m., Sunday. The Rev. David A. Dawson, pastor of the New Berlin Methodist Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, New Berlin.
