Dona Aletha Browning was the fifth child born to John William & Lucinda Pearl (Troxel) Browning on April 1, 1911 in Hayes County, Nebraska. She was married to Loyd Miller on Feb. 4, 1925 in St. Francis, Kansas. To this union were born ten children, five of whom died in infancy or at a young age. They were William Leroy, Vernon Keith, Betty Lou, Phyllis Lorraine and Charles Jay. Those who grew to adulthood were Harold Loyd "Hal", Larry Wayne, Royce Lee, Darlene Marie and Robert "Bob" Ray.
Dona & Loyd marked their 60th wedding anniversary at an open house held Saturday, June 22, at the Caldwell Senior Citizens Center. They moved to Caldwell, Idaho in 1947 where Loyd was engaged in building construction until his retirement. Dona worked for the Pantorium Cleaners and Troy Laundry for 15 years.
They attended the Oregon Trail Church of God.
