JUNCTION CITY - The funeral will be Nov. 30 for Lola Ellen Zimbelman of Junction City, who died Nov. 25 of age-related causes. She was 92.

Zimbelman was born March 29, 1913, in Palisade, Neb., to John and Pearl Troxel Browning. She married Leonard Zimbelman on April 5, 1932, in St. Francis, Kan. He died in 1995.

Zimbelman moved to Medford in 1945 and to Eugene in 1951. She worked as a grocery store clerk and also ran a restaurant for a short time in Eugene.

Zimbelman enjoyed sewing, crafts, cooking and playing cards. She was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include three brothers: Don Browning and Mike Browning, both of St. Francis, and Bud Browning of Hudson, Colo.; a sister, Doris Anderson of St. Francis; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

A son, Bob, and a daughter, Fran, died previously.

Wednesday's service will be at 11 a.m. at Lane Memorial Gardens Chapel. Burial will be at Sunset Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's disease research. Lane Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home in Eugene is in charge of arrangements.
