Loyd Miller was married to Dona Aletha Browning on February 4, 1925 in St. Francis, Kansas. To this union were born ten children, five of whom died in infancy, or at a young age. These were William Leroy, Vernon Keith, Betty Lou, Phyllis Lorraine and Charles Jay. The five who grew to adulthood were Harold Loyd "Hal", Larry Wayne, Royce Lee, Darlene Marie and Robert "Bob" Ray.
The family moved to Caldwell, Idaho in 1947 where Loyd was engaged in building construction until his retirement.
Loyd & Dona marked their 60th wedding anniversary at an open house held Saturday, June 22, at the Caldwell Senior Citizens Center.
They attended the Oregon Trail Church of God.
