Bio

I am 40 years old, originally from Arizona, but I have been in Idaho for 25 years. I am a single dad with three beautiful daughters and two adorable sons. I have been obsessed with genealogy since I was very young, and I am happy to help others find their ancestors.

I am very sorry if you have left me a message or sent me an email in the past year and haven't heard back from me. My life has become very complicated and I am just trying to keep my head above water for the time being.

I contribute to this website because I have gotten so much out of it for my own research. I love finding records of my relatives' burials, and especially love when there is a picture of their grave included. My contributions are my way of giving back. I'm not trying to get the biggest numbers on my profile, although I admit that I check my numbers often. (I have a degree in Mathematics, I can't help it.)

I try to add family links, places, middle and maiden names, and any other information I can find to each memorial. If you have this information and I have not included it, please notify me through the Suggest a Correction link under the Edit tab. I usually get to them the following weekend. I will transfer family members, as long as they are not my relatives also, but I ask that if I transfer them to you that you be willing to update the memorial if anyone asks.

I am also working on getting my entire family, no matter how distant, linked and updated on here. This involves a whole lot of correction emails. I don't generally include source information with my emails, because of the time it takes, but in most cases I have that information handy if requested. If you have received hundreds of emails from me, please be patient. I am not trying to annoy anyone, and I am not in a rush to have it done, I'm just trying to help make this site better for future visitors.

When I find a relative's memorial, I add it to my virtual cemeteries under the branch of my family that they come from. As of Oct 1, 2023, I have 50161 relatives found on Find a Grave. I usually leave flowers on relatives' graves, because I don't want any of them to be forgotten.
