My great grandmother, Oma Mae Barclay (Martin), stated it was the grandmother's responsibility to teach the oldest grandchild their family history, thus my journey began. The rest, I can blame on my Mother and a little genealogy bug whose bite resulted in OCD!! I live in Oklahoma, and my memorials belong to my family, friends and some orphan memorials, found along the way. If you are related to my orphan's and want it transferred to you, please let me know. Feel free to contact me, if you think we might be related, have additional information, corrections or just want to say hello. My cousin Beth, found some great stuff to use on headstones. I had tried everything on them, plus scrubbing but nothing worked. This stuff works great, I sprayed it on and the mold just ran off the headstone. The name is D/2 Biological Solution; also used by the National Cemeteries, as a preservative and cleaner on monuments and headstones. Works great, no work, just spray it on and it restores headstone to almost new. In some cases, it might take longer to completely clean the headstone but it removes algae, lichen, moss, mold and mildew, which turn headstones dark and will eventually decay them. It claims to preserves the stone. My objective is to preserve family history, to connect families together and help find the most correct information possible. Thank you to everyone involved with FAG.
