The Jenkins County native was a longtime resident of Bulloch County. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church. She was the widow of Linton Sammons Sr.
SURVIVORS: a son, Linton L. Sammons Jr. of Statesboro; two sisters, Lois M. Dickerson of Pembroke and Katie Hughes Norman of Savannah; and several nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: 5-8 p.m. today at Hodges-Turner-Anderson Funeral Home.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Monday at Hodges-Turner-Anderson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Eastside Cemetery.
