Pembroke - Alton Lawrence McCoy, 67, died Tuesday at his residence after a long illness. The Bulloch County native was a retired farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Davis McCoy of Pembroke; five sons, Bobby McCoy of Bellville, Billy McCoy of Macon, Ricky McCoy of Jesup and Donnie and Terry McCoy, both of Pembroke; three daughters, Mrs. Patty Lanier and Mrs. Annette Bacon, both of Pembroke, and Mrs. Mary Ruth Bacon of Waycross; two brothers, Lee and Robert McCoy, both of Pembroke; four sisters, Miss Betty J. McCoy and Mrs. Lois Dickerson, both of Pembroke, Mrs. Vergie Sammons of Statesboro and Mrs. Katie Hughes of Thunderbolt; and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday at Morrison Funeral Home in Pembroke, burial in Lawrence Baptist Church Cemetery near Pembroke.
