Katie McCoy Hughes Norman, 94, of Savannah, passed away Monday, June 8th, 2015 at Hospice House.
A native of Pembroke, she was the daughter of the late George and Kate McCoy. She was a sales clerk for Sears. She was a Sunday School Teacher at Thunderbolt Baptist Church, a member of the “NGO" Church Group and Sears Retirees Group.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, John Quincey Hughes and William Henry Norman and a son, William R Hughes, Sr.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Bonaventure Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Friday, June 12, 2015 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Bonaventure Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
