Funeral services for Arthur Hash were conducted Sunday, December 31 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, Rev. Walter Lay officiating. Burial was in Zion Cemetery. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Mr. Hash was born in Taylor County on February 10, 1881, the son of the late William and Sarah DeWitt Hash, and died Friday, December 29, at Metzmeier Nursing Home. He united in marriage to Miss Emma Nelson fifty-eight years ago, and to this union ten sons and one daughter were born. Surviving are: Herbert, Jim and Floyd Hash, all of Campbellsville; Clarence and Walter Hash of Louisville; Thomas Hash of Indianapolis, Indiana; Hershel Hash of New Mac; Carl Hash of Larue County; and Mrs. Marvin Thompson of Campbellsville. Besides his wife and children, he is survived by a half-brother, R. E. Hash of Louisville; 24 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were James Thompson, Floyd C.
