Obit: [Contributed by Gert Scholten] Mr. Sander Brink passed away early Monday morning at the age of 90 years, 9 months 14 days. Mr. Brink was born in the Netherlands and came to America at the age of 5 years. He was preceded in death by his wife who passed away in 1914. He now leaves to mourn the following ten children: Susie, Mrs. Herman Oldenkamp; John; Nick; Charlie; Hattie, Mrs. Gerrit Roos; Sarah, Mrs. Andrew Boone; Henry; Simon; Annie, Mrs. Tony Boone; and Fred. One infant daughter also preceded him in death.
Further survivors are 46 grandchildren, 82 great grand-children and 8 great
great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at Hospers
under the direction of Vander Ploeg's Funeral home.
