Services were Saturday afternoon at 1:30 in the First Reformed church in Hospers Rev. James Bos officiated. Burial was in the West cemetery under the direction of the Vander Ploeg funeral home.
Charles Brink was born June 6, 1889 at Hospers. He farmed near Hospers until his retirement and moved into town.
On February 17, 1914 he was united in marriage to Nettie Roos at Hospers, to this union were born four sons and two daughters, Sam of Hospers, James of Sioux Center, Arie of Storm Lake, Marion of Sibley, Marcella (Mrs. Dick Hulst), and Pearl at home. There are 10 grandchildren.
In addition, to his wife and children he is survived by the following brothers and sisters, Nick of Brooten, Minn., John of Primghar, Fred of Hospers, Mrs. Herman Oldenkamp and Mrs. Andrew Boone, both of Sheldon, Mrs. Tony Boone of Hospers, Mrs. Gerrit Roos of Boyden.
Two brothers preceded him Simon Brink and Henry Brink.
Pall Bearers were, Sander Roos, Henry Roos, Edlen Boone, Clifford Brink, John Schuller and Wm. H. Oldenkamp.
