Hagerstown, MD, March 19---Mrs. Susan Thomas, aged 76, wife of Daniel A. Thomas, a manufacturer of Hagerstown, died suddenly last night of congestion of the lungs. Her husband and a son survive.
Baltimore MD Sun, Friday, March 21, 1919:
Hagerstown---Mrs. Susan S. Thomas, 65, wife of Daniel A. Thomas, died suddenly Tuesday. She was a Miss Mumma before marriage and was born at the Mumma homestead on Antietam battle field. Surviving are her husband, one son, Franklin M. Thomas, Hagerstown, two brothers, Samuel Mumma, Sharpsburg, and William R. Mumma, Vancouver, B.C., and two sisters, Miss Alice M. Mumma, Sharpsburg, and Mrs. Cora A Richard (sic), Springfield, Ohio.
