Mr. Samuel Mumma, postmaster at Sharpsburg, on Monday evening, received a telegram bringing the sad tidings of the death of his brother, Zachariah Mumma, who passed away, Monday, at his home in Woodland, Yolo county, Cal., aged 57 years. He was stricken with paralysis and death resulted. Mr. Mumma went west 30 years ago. He is survived by his widow, who ws Miss Emma Rohrback, of Sharpsburg, and two sons, Frederick and Frank. He also leaves these brothers and sisters: Henry C., and Mrs. Daniel Thomas, of this city; Mrs. Jacob C. Grove and Miss Alice, Sharpsburg; Mrs. Cora Reichard, Springfield, O.; William and Clinton, in California.
