She was a native of Hancock County but lived in Milledgeville for most of her life. She was a retired employee of J.P. Stevens and was a member of Freedom Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, E Frank Stephens; daughter, Winnie Mae Stephens Ferrell; granddaughter, Heather Stephens Chesnut; and great granddaughter, Jami Alexandra Espy. Survivors include her daughter, Finnie Mae Osborne (Johnny) of Linton; son, Franklin Dean Stephens (Heden), Milledgeville; five grandchildren, Bonnie S Lloyd (Matt), Maryleen Osborne, Elaine Page (John), Johnny Osborne, Jr. (Denise), and Jennifer Gautney (Kyle); eight great-grandchildren, Sara Brennan, Mari Brennan, Leah Brennan-Lloyd, Wes Page, Kolby LaGana, Brooke Waters, Zach Chesnut, and Anna Espy; and brother, Louie Batchelor (Jewell), Milledgeville.
