28, 2009. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Milledgeville First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Heritage Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home Tuesday, December 29, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Mr. Batchelor was a native of Hancock County, living most of his life in Milledgeville. He was the son of the late Henry and Mattie Perdue Batchelor and was preceded in death by his son Carlton Paul Batchelor. He was an active Shriner and a member of Milledgeville First Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sandra Batchelor of Milledgeville; daughters, Linda (Herman) Meeks, Beverly
(Ricky) Williams, Carla (Patrick) Woodall all of Milledgeville and Wanda Barker of Macon; stepchildren, Laurel Brown of Milledgeville and David Brown of Rome; brother Louie M. (Jewell) Batcheler, Sr. of Milledgeville; sister, Eileen Stephens of Milledgeville; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
