She was born in Hancock County and was a member of Scottsboro Baptist Church. She was a homemaker.

Batchelor, Louie Batchelor and Florence Adams all of Milledgeville, and Eileen Stephens of Hardwick; Stepchildren, Mable Flury of Sparta, and Pauline Jackson of Martinez; sisters, Ruby Johnson and Annie Mae Roberts, Both of Sparta, Lena West of Cochran, Bessie Johnson of Milledgeville, Janie Stephens of Sandersville; 31 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
