Henry W. Holland is the sixth child of Benjamin Yarborough and Matilda Hamilton HOLLAND, born Sept. 1862 at Pleasant Plains (now Blanche), Lincoln County, TN.

Henry was a farmer, however, it is well known how he loved to hunt wild game and fish. It probably was also a good way to add to the family larder.

Henry married Josie VAUGHN on Dec. 23rd, 1880 and settled in Lincoln County, TN near Kelly's Creek and they had 9 children.
