"Winslow-Allen.
Married, Wednesday evening of last week, at the Fairfield House, Mr. Samuel Grant Winslow, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Miss Ada Jane Allen, of this city, the Rev. E.M Johnson officiating in his most felicitious manner. The happy couple departed on Thursday morning for their future home in Indinanapolis. May great blesssings be their portion. J."


Samuel Grant was working at the Bloomington, Ind, hub factory in July, 1905, per the Wayne County Press, Thursday, 20 July 1905; p 5, column 4:

"Grant Winslow while engaged in running a machine at the Bloomington, Ind, hub factory a few days ago got his right hand pretty badly mashed, but it is thought that he will be able to use it in ten days or two weeks. The report that he had lost his hand is untrue, we are glad to report. Mr. Winslow, it will be remembered, recently married Miss Ada Allen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T.J. Allen of this city."
