Mrs. Mary Etta Norris

Mrs. Mary Etta Norris, 85, Janesville resident since 1940, died this morning following several years' illness.

The former Mary Etta Appleman, daughter of John and Sarah Parr Meloy Appleman. was born in Ohio in 1870. Her husband. J. A. Norris. died in Janesville in 1943. Surviving are two sons. Vincent L., of Madison, and Leighton of Janesville; one daughter, Mrs. J. F. Sabin, Sister Bay; five grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Donovan and Mrs. Lutisha Adams, both of Madison, and Mrs. George Jones, Prairie du Chien; two brothers, Charles and Seward Appleman, both of Viroqua.

Arrangements for the funeral are being made at Frautchi Funeral Home, Madison. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Madison.
