J. A. Norris Dead; Was State Official
J. A. Norris, 81, died Friday in his home in Janesville. He was a former factory inspector for the state industrial commission. In 1918, he became safety engineer for the Employers Mutual Liability Ins. Co., Wausau, continuing until his retirement in 1941. He moved to Janesville in 1942.
He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Mrs. J. F. Sabin, Watertown; two sons, Vincent L., Madison; Leighton C., Janesville.
Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the Frautschi funeral home with Dr. George E. Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery.
