Mrs. Minick was on a visit to friends and relatives in this section when taken ill.
Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon at Emory Chapel Methodist church near Saluda. The Rev. R. A. Hughes and the Rev. Mr. Simpson will conduct the funeral.
Interment will follow in the church yard.
She is survived by her husband, J. O. Minick, Brooklet, Ga.; father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Calk, Saluda; four daughters, Mrs. R. L. Williams, Mrs. B. H. Sutton, Miss Ethlyn Minick, all of Brooklet, Ga., and Miss Ruth Minick, Savannah; three sons, William and James Minick, Brooklet, and Cpl. Obed Minick, in service with the army in Germany; one sister, Mrs. Jessie Bedenbaugh, Saluda; six brothers, Fred, Seth, Homer and L D. Calk, all of Saluda, Willie Calk, Aiken and Travis Calk, Savannah.
