He was owner and operator of the Trail Cafe and a coin machine operator.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Myrtis Edwards Calk; a daughter, Mrs. Keith (Mary) Bedenbaugh of Saluda; a brother, Seth Calk of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a half-sister, Mrs. Annie Mae Freeman of Greenville; and a stepbrother, Harold McCarty of Saluda.
Services will be 3 p.m. today in Emory United Methodist Church.
