RIDGEWAY – John E. McGann, 72, Ridgeway, died unexpectedly Tuesday, April 30, in a Dodgeville hospital.
Mr. McGann farmed in the Ridgeway area for many years. He was a member of St. Bridget's Holy Name Society.
Surviving are his wife, Stella; two sons, John D., Verona and William, Ridgeway; four daughters, Mrs. Gene Callahan, Mt. Horeb, Mrs. D.L. Rounds, Madison, Mrs. Dean Murphy and Mrs. Robert Cullen, both of Ridgeway; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Roberts, Madison; and 16 grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in St. Bridget Catholic Church, Ridgeway. The Ayers Funeral Home of Ridgeway was in charge of arrangements.
