OBITUARY:
FORMER RESIDENT PASSED AWAY IN WISCONSIN Mrs. Lininger Was Native of East Indian Creek Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Mae Lininger, who passed away May 10th, 1942 of a heart attack, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Toy of Prairie Farm, Wisconsin, was held Wednesday, May 13, at 2:30 at the Cornwall Funeral Home at Turtle Lake, Wisconsin. Services were conducted by Rev. F. Clements of Baron, Wisconsin and remains laid to rest in the Clayton Cemetery. Pallbearers were old neighbors: Charles Race, George Steward, Walter Barnes, Frank Blick, Elmer Barnes and John Barnich. Mrs. Hattie Lininger was born at East Indian Creek, Minn., March 23, 1884. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Nelson. In 1894 she moved with her parents to Plainview where she lived until her marriage, May 14, 1909 to David E. Livinger. After her marriage she lived on a farm south of Turtle Lake, Wisconsin. She was the mother of ten children. Her parents, one sister, three brothers and a son, Frank, preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her passing nine children: Ella of Rochester, Minn.; Mrs. Charles Timmerman, Minneapolis, Minn.;Mrs. Kermit Holcombe, Eleva, Wisconsin; Mary, Chippewa Falls; Ernest, Plainview, Minn.; David and George, Stanley, Wisconsin; Homer, Cadot, Wisconsin and Pvt. Carl in the U.S. Army in El Pasco, Texas; four grandchildren and six sisters: Mrs. Margaret Osborn, Plainview, Minn.; Mrs. Harry Hermanson, Minneapolis, Minn.; Mrs. Wm. Elliot, St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. Bert Olson, Millville, Minn.; Mrs. James Heddlesten, St. Charles, Minn.; and Mary Heddlesten, Rochester, Minn.; one brother Wm. Nelson, Plainview, Minn. Those attending the funeral were her children and three sisters: Mrs. Margaret Osborn, Plainview, Minn.; Mrs. Harry Hermanson, Minneapolis, Minn.; and Mrs. Wm. E. Elliot, St. Paul, Minn.
