MRS. JOHN H. NELSON FUNERAL HELD TODAY. Funeral services for Mrs. John H. Nelson, who died here Wednesday, after a two months illness, from a complication of diseases, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday, at the Nelson home. Rev. Gilman of the Methodist church will officiate. Burial will be made in Minneiska Cemetary. Mrs. Nelson, who was before her marriage Miss Hannah Jacoby, was born in East Indian Creek Valley, northeast of Plainview April 14, 1869. Growing to womanhood in that valley she was married to John H. Nelson on March 16, 1886. Taking up the farming occupation they continued their home in East Indian Creek until 1894 when they moved to Plainview, which has since been her home. Mrs. Nelson's life has been an active one, confined mostly to the home which was graced by the birth of 12 children, eight of whom survive. Her interest and labors were for that family and her devotion was rewarded in the love of her children. The surviving children are Mrs. Hattie Leniger, Barron, Wis.; Mrs. Margaret Osborn, Plainview; Mrs. William Elliott, St. Paul; Mrs. William Huddelston Plainview; Mrs. Bert Olson, Millville; Mrs. Harry Hermanson, Elgin; Mrs. James Huddelson, Millville; one son William P. Nelson, Plainview; and three sisters, Mrs. Jonas Johnson, Weaver; Mrs. Elizabeth Abbott, Arlington, S. D., and Mrs. James Purvis, Plainview; also twenty-five grand children and two great grandchildren.
The name Huddelson should be Heddlesten.
