MARY JOHNSON RITES CONDUCTED AT WEAVER 74 Year Old Weaver Resident Died At Her Home There Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Johnson of Weaver were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Weaver Methodist church. The Rev. R. L. Stephans of Kellogg officiated. Mrs. Johnson, who was nearly 74 years of age, passed away at her home in weaver at 1:20 p.m. last Thursday. Death was caused by a cerebral hemmorhage. She had been in poor health for three weeks. Mary Jacoby was born in Illinois, August 21, 1865, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Jacoby. When a small girl, the jacobys moved to the Weaver community, where Mrs. Johnson spent the remainder of lifetime. November 27, 1884, she married Jonas Johnson, with seven children being born to this union. Six of them survive. Mr. Johnson died at Weaver in 1933. Surviving childrfen include, Mrs. M. Wieser, Mrs. Frank Schultz, Harry, Alfred and Bertha, all of Weaver; and Nelse Johnson of Honey Ridge. One son, Leroy, preceded his parents in death. Two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Abbott of Arlington, South Dakota, and Mrs. James Purvis of Plainview, also survive as do 24 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Relatives from St. Paul, Minneapolis, Rochester, Winona, Plainview, Millville, Newport and Wabasha and friends from the surrounding community, attended the last rites. Pallbearers were Walter Timm, Louis Lorenz, Frank Gage, Herbert Romenesko, P. A. Winters and E. F. Mogren. Burial was made in Evergreen cemetery.
