Anne Marie Darcy was born May 28, 1883 in Castlecomer, Coon, Kilkenny Co., Ireland, the daughter of Michael and Catherine Donahue Darcy came to America in 1899 at age 16 and stayed with her sister Della Darcy Mulvey in Bemidji, MN. and Crookston, MN. She worked originally as a telephone operator. Della'a first husband Thomas Mulvey died Jan. 2, 1900. After Thomas' death Della, Anne, and Della's children traveled to Ireland to visit their family. After a short stayed they returned to the US along with Michael Joseph Darcy, Della and Annie's brother. They arrived in the USA on September 20, 1902, they sailed to America from the port then called Queenstown, Ireland. They arrived on Sep 20, 1902, aboard The SS Noordland at Philadelphia. Their older brother Thomas Patrick Darcy and sister Della helped Anna and Michael move here Anna stayed with her sister Della in Crookston, MN. She worked originally as a telephone operator. On Oct 19, 1909 she married Anton Felix Loser in Crookston, and moved to Montana. Living in Havre, Montana for 25 years. He husband, Anton Felix worked for the Great Northern Railroad.

Frank A Loser, born Jan. 23, 1912, died in 1965.

After her husband death in 1940, Anna Maria moved to Great Falls, Montana, where she lived for the final 32 years of her life. She is buried in Havre, Hill Co., Montana.

Death Takes Anna Marie Loser, 89.

Anna Marie (Darcy) Loser, 1130 17th Ave. S., died Sunday at a local hospital where she had been a patient for the past three week.
Funeral services will be at O'Connors Chapel. Tuesday at 9 a.m. and at the Holy Family Church at 9:15 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Havre Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the O'Connor Chapel.

She was a telephone operator at Crookston, Minn., and married there to Anton F. Loser. The couple moved to Whitefish where he was employed by the Great Northern Railway. They later moved to Havre.
(Anton F.) Loser died in 1941. She has resided at a convalescent hospital for the past six years.
Survivors include four sons: Charles M. Loser of Denver, John C. Loser of Klamath Falls, Ore., Robert J. Loser of Fort Shaw, James S. Loser of Great Falls; and a daughter, Mrs. Frank Alfano of Oroville, Wash. Also brothers and sisters in Ireland, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
