She was returning home to Minnesota after a short visit to Ballyragget. On the SS Noordland's passenger list Della reported she and her children were going home to Barnesville, MN,, which is about 90 miles south of Crookston, MN. Della and her sister Anna Maria continued on to Minnesota after a short stay in Creighton, NE..
Della married Thomas Mulvey in 1903. Thomas Mulvey was Owen Mulvey brother, who was married to Della's sister Catherine.
Tom and Della left Minnesota in 1929 and moved to Renton, Washington, in the Seattle area. Della and Tom Mulvey had one child who survived childhood, Francis Joseph Mulvey who married Mary Williams. Della and Thomas lived in Renton, Washington until their deaths; Thomas died in 1958 and Della died July 14, 1964. They had twin boys who died as infants. Melvin M Mulvey and John H Mulvey died as infants in Stephen, MN. They are buried in St. Stephen Cemetery in Stephen.

Requiem services were held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Renton, and burial was in Greenwood Cemetery there.
