Mrs. Minnie Beadle Dies in Hospital
Mrs. William (Minnie) Beadle, 87, Galena, died at the Galena Hospital Saturday, Sept. 25 after a brief illness. She was born in Rice Township Feb. 26, 1889, the daughter of the late William Leigh Heller and was united in marriage to William Beadle May 25, 1910. She is survived by eight daughters, Mrs. Donald (Helen) Petitgoue, Galena, Mrs. Boise (Frances) Murphy, Galena, Mrs. Henry (Florence) Bautsch, Galena, Mrs. Joseph (Vera) Weinen, Galena, Mrs. Nathan (Catherine) Seeyle, Harvard, Ill., Mrs. Elmer (Lucille) Rusboldt, Michigan City, Ind., Mrs. Leroy (Virginia) Armstrong, Galena and Mrs. David (Joanne) Foecking, Galena; two sons, Donald Beadle and Thomas Beadle, both of Galena, 48 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1970, one son, William Jr. in 1954, one sister and four brothers. Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 27 from the Furlong Funeral Chapel to St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father James McLoughlin celebrating the 10am Mass. Burial was in St. Michael's Cemetery. Casket bearers were grandsons, Pat Beadle, Steven Beadle, Jerry Petigoue, Kenneth Bautsch, Bill Murphy, Wayne Weinan, and Ronald Armstrong.
Honor guard from the Altar and Rosary Society were Mrs. Vivian Leglar, Mrs. Alvina Addabboo, Mrs. Margaret Breitbach, Victorine Kelly, Loretta Rierdon, and Mrs. Marie Weinan.
Furlong Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
