RICHARD H HELLER PASSES AWAY TUESDAY AFTERNOON
Richard H. Heller, a son of the late William and Anna Heller, passed away at his home, 219 Park Ave., on May 22, 1945, at 5:30pm.
He was born in Rich {sic Rice} Township on February 5, 1873, and spent his entire life in and around Galena. On March 30, 1897, he was united in marriage with Ada Wilkinson. He is survived by his wife, together with the following children; Mrs. Raymond Keleher, Mrs. Edmund Perleth, Mrs. Raymond Creighton, all of this city and Floyd W. Heller of Waterloo, Iowa; four grandchildren, Doris Ann and Dickie Heller, and Beverly and John Creighton. Also three brothers, William, Henry and Fred J. Heller and two sisters, Mrs. John J. Bucher and Mrs. William Beadle.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son, LeRoy, and a daughter, Bertha.
He was a member of the Methodist church and the Wildey Lodge No. 5, I.O.O.F. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, May 25, at 2:30pm from the Nash Funeral Chapel. Burial will be made in Greenwood cemetery. After seven o'clock this evening friends may call at the chapel to pay their respects.
