SCALES MOUND, Ill. - Ruby V. Keleher, 95, of Scales Mound, died Sunday, March 16, 1997, at Galena-Stauss Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Furlong Funeral Chapel, Galena, with the Rev. Brian Channel officiating. Burial will be in Scales Mound Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
Mrs. Keleher was a homemaker. She and her husband farmed in the Galena and Scales Mound area until their retirement.
Ruby was born on Jan. 30, 1902, in Guilford Township of Jo Daviess County, daughter of Richard and Ada (Wilkinson) Heller. She married Raymond Keleher on June 25, 1925, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Galena; he preceded her in death on Nov. 20, 1994.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Scales Mound.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Bertha, in infancy, Lucille Perleth and Ida Mae Creighton; and two brothers, Floyd and LeRoy Heller.
