Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004, at a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Carencro for Frances Quebedeaux, 76, the former Frances Arnaud, who died at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2004, at her daughter?s residence in Carencro.
Interment will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery in Carencro. The Rev. Bill Melancon, pastor of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, will officiate at the services.
Mrs. Quebedeaux was a native of Arnaudville and a resident of Carencro for most of her life. She was a parishioner of St. Peter Catholic Church and was a member of the Bonne Mort Society, St. Anne Society and the Sacred Heart League.
Survivors include one daughter, Diana Braquet and her husband, Carrol, of Carencro; seven grandchildren, Sheila Taylor, of Church Point, Todd Cormier, of Carencro, Simone Braquet, of Carencro, Bridget Richard and her husband, Jimmy, of Youngsville, Jeremi Braquet and his wife, Danielle, of Carencro, Jeni Hernandez and her husband, Richard, of Moss Bluff, and Shellie Broussard and her husband, Dana, of Breaux Bridge; ten great grandchildren; three brothers, Edwin Arnaud and his wife, Mildred, Huey Arnaud and his wife, Lucy, and John Arnaud, all of Carencro; and four sisters, Edna Cormier, of Carencro, Margaret Arnaud, of Youngsville, Elizabeth Trahan and her husband, Calvin, of Carencro, and Priscilla Fontes and her husband, David, of Carencro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kermick Quebedeaux; parents, Edwin Arnaud and Florida Badeaux Arnaud, both natives of St. Landry Parish; two daughters, Teddy Meche and Annette Coleman; and a granddaughter, Judith Meche.
Pallbearers will be Carrol Braquet, Jimmie Richard, Jeremi Braquet, Dana Broussard, Richard Hernandez and Dwayne Schexnayder.
Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro, 4615 N. University Avenue was in charge of arrangements.
