Fond du Lac Commonwealth Reporter. Tues. Aug. 29, 1933, p. 3:6. EARLY RESIDENT OF COUNTY DIES. Miss Elizabeth Abler, Who Resided On Route 7, Expires. Miss Elizabeth Abler, 72, native of the county who until two years ago had resided in Milwaukee for 50 years, died at 5 p.m. Monday at St. Agnes hospital. She had resided on the Abler homestead, Route 7, since her return from Milwaukee. Born Jan. 9, 1861, in the Town of Marshfield she was a daughter of the late Peter and Mary Abler of Empire. Surviving are five brothers, Matt of this city, Joseph of Osceola, John and Peter of Empire and Michael of Dallas, S.D., and a sister, Mrs. Kate Eggers of Wauwatosa. The body was taken to the Zacherl funeral home, where funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday and at 10 from St. Joseph's church. The Rev. Henry G. Riordan will officate. Burial will be at St. Charles cemetery. Miss Abler was a member of the Altar society of the Gesu church in Milwaukee.

Funeral services for Miss Elizabeth Abler, 72, who died Monday night at St. Agnes hospital were conducted at 9:30 a.m. today at St. Joseph's church. The Rev. Henry G. Riordan officiated at the solemn requiem high mass. He was assisted by the Rev. J.J Shanahan and the Rev. M.J. Rastall. Burial was in the St. Charles cemetery. Pallbearers were Al Koenigs, George Willis, Charles Fitzgerald, Harry Keyes, John Konan and Ed Worm. Persons attending from out of the city included Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jacobus of Wauwatosa, Mr. and Mrs. E.G. Schleiger and Mrs. Nick Hartzheim of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hartzheim of Juneau and Mr. and Mrs. Anton Petrie, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Petrie, Mr. and Mrs. John Abler and Mr. and Mrs. Matt Abler of Calvary.
