Fond du Lac Daily Commowealth, Mon. Mar. 25, 1907, p. 8:1. Peter Abler, aged 77 years, died Sunday morning at 11:15 at his home in Empire. He had been ill only a week with pneumonia. The deceased was born in Prussia, Germany, Nov. 112, 1829, and had resided in Empire for the past forty-one year. He is survived by a wife and eight children, Mrs. George Eggers, Eden; Miss Elizabeth Abler, California; Miss Barbara Abler, Eden; Mathias, Michael and Peter, of the town of Fond du Lac; John, of Empire, and Joseph, of this city. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning, at 10 o'clock, from St. Joseph's church, Rev. M. J. Taugher officiating. Ineterment will be in Taycheedah cemetery.

The pall bearers were Nicholas Damm, W. Fitzgerald, J. Reilly, John Cody, T. Mack and M. Whalen. There was a large attendance at the funeral. Burial took place at Taycheedah cemetery.
