Nancy Caroline Freeman married William Pinkney Cook, August 6, 1877. His children from his first marriage were, Joseph W., James P., John L, and Mary E. Nancy became owner of the land where Cook cemetery is situated, in 1890, when Bill died. She remarried to William Leroy "Bill" Bivans (1850-1910), in Feb. 1892, after her husband Dr. Bill Cook passed away. He was the father of William Marshall Bivans, born Dec. 1893, Izard Co., AR. Nancy and Bill were divorced by 1900 according to the 1900 census.

Nancy and Bill Cook were the parents of Jefferson H. Cook, Jacob D. Cook, Shula Cook-Hare, Maranda Cook-Clark, Jackson B. Cook, and Mabel Cook Mc Vey. Many of the family lived in Oklahoma after 1920, but originally came from Arkansas. May she rest in peace.
