Amanda Melvina Dixon Freeman, wife of Jacob B. Freeman. Daughter of Harry P. Dixon and Polly Cooper. She was the sister of Calvin M. Dixon, Grayson Stewart Dixon, John W. Dixon, William Peyton Dixon, and Mary "Mollie" Dixon-Richardson. Amanda and Jake had 10 children. Amanda's brothers died in the Civil War. Her husband divorced her in April of 1890 after 38 years of marriage. She died alone after 1892. In heaven we will meet.
