Father of 10. Brother of Mary M., William C, John B., Joseph H., Nancy M., Emaline, Othenial, Allen, and Thomas. Most lived in KY, and TN, Jacob lived in AR. He was a Justice of the Peace, in Izard Co., in 1890. He divorced Amanda in 1891, and remarried to a Mrs. Mary Jo Wear, age 40, in 1894, but for a short period of time. Lived with his son Joel Mathew and wife Adah, until his decease in 1914.

Served in the Civil War, CSA, military description, small stature, dark complexion, dark hair and grey eyes. Mustered in at Spring River. This info not for ancestry, rootsweb or family search files for people to copy. Jacob attended the Civil War Veterans Reunion, in Little Rock, AR, May 16-18, 1911, staying at Camp Shaver, and attending the large parade in down town Little Rock, which drew in about 140,000 soldiers and their families. Researched by GenealogyJoan, 2nd G granddaughter. And found all over the internet with research credit eliminated. Someone named Gibby Brack on genidotcom has lifted all my personal family info. We are no relation.
