Mrs. Mary Harriet Cornelius died at 8 o'clock yesterday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. James Dunn, of Greenwood, near Altoona.

She was the widow of Samuel Cornelius and was born October 4, 1858, in Huntingdon county, a daughter of Henry and Mary Kocher. Surviving are four children, Harry H. Cornelius, Mrs. Huey Scales and Gertrude Cornelius, all of Altoona, and Mrs. Dunn, of Greenwood. Other survivors include three sisters and a brother, Mrs. Ella David [sic] of Petersburg, Mrs. Bessie Davis, of Warriors Mark, Mrs. Blanche Shell [sic], of Williamsport, and Harry Kocher, of Altoona, 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Cornelius was a member of the Methodist church and the Juniata lodge of Pocahontas.

The body may be viewed at the Mauk and Yates funeral home in Altoona, where service will be conducted at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon. Burial will be in Grandview cemetery.
