Obituary:
Mrs. Lillian Gerlock, Of 423 Moore street, Huntingdon, died unexpectedly at 7 o'clock last night at the home of her son, Harry W. Gerlock, with whom she resided. Mrs. Gerlock was born Oct. 30, 1875, in Huntingdon, a daughter of John and Harriet (Briggs) Edelblute. Her husband, Harry W., whom she married Feb. 15, 1902, in Huntingdon, died March 30, 1936. Surviving are two sons, Joshua R. of Philadelphia and Harry of Huntingdon; two granddaughters, one great-grandchild and four sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Sarah Moore of Claysburg, Mrs. Gertrude Hale of Akron, O., Mrs. Elizabeth Lewis, G. Edward and Clyde O. of Altoona, Mrs. Emma Long of Portage and Robert W. of Huntingdon. Mrs. Gerlock was a member of the Abbey Evangelical and Reformed church, Huntingdon; D.E. Masters Bible class and the Women's Guild of the church, Juniata Valley court 129, Order of Amaranth; donation grange 330, Ladies auxiliary of Knights Templar 65, Huntingdon; Women's Leqgue of Juniata college and the Pythian Sisters. She was a past district deputy of the Order of Eastern Star and past matron of O.E.S. chapter 159, Huntingdon. Friends will be received at the Brown funeral home, Huntingdon, after noon tomorrow.
