Mrs. Emma Long of Portage, a native of Huntingdon, died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 5, 1973, at a Nursing Home in Valley City, Ohio. She had been in failing health for some time. A daughter of John and Harriet (Briggs) Edelblute, she had been married to Blaine Long of Portage, who is deceased. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Darle Rush of Valley City, Ohio, along with a number of grandchildren, as well as a brother, Robert Edelblute of Huntingdon and a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Hale of Akron, Ohio. Mrs. Long was preceded in death by one daughter, four sisters and three brothers. She was of the Protestant faith. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 8 and interment will follow in Portage.
