George E. Edelblute - Of 525 Fourth avenue, died at his home at 10:05 o'clock yesterday morning after an extended illness. He was born Feb. 22, 1880, in Huntingdon, the son of John and Harriet (Briggs) Edelblute, and married Elizabeth C. Hoffman. He was a former store house attendant, Pennsylvania railroad, retiring in 1952 after 49 years service. Surviving are his wife, four children, Mrs. Kathryn Fisher of Huntingdon, R.D. 2, Frank E., of Altoona, John W. and Charles W. of Glen Burnie, Md., five grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: Clyde of Altoona, Robert of Huntingdon, Mrs. Sarah Moore of Claysburg, Mrs. Gertrude Hale of Akron, O., and Mrs. Emma Long of Portage. He was a member of the Trinity Evangelical and Reformed church. Friends will be received at the Myers funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
