Mr. Blevins was born February 17, 1920 in Johnson County, the son of ELISHA and SARAH ELIZABETH CRAFT BLEVINS.
He was a retired construction operator and a member of the Staffordsville Freewill Baptist Church.
His wife, Marie Hall Blevins preceded him in death November 3,1978.
Surviving are two sons, Hershell and Ronald Eugene Blevins, both of Staffordsville, four daughters, Sandy Jolly of Colorado, Latona Ann Crider and Nita Gail Coots of Staffordsville, and Elizabeth Jean Crislip of Oakhill, OH; a brother, Wayne Blevins of Paintsville;and two sisters, Beechie McKenzie and Shirley King of Staffordsville.
Funeral services were held Thursday, February 27, in Staffordsville Freewill Baptis Church with Bob Collins officiating.Burial was in the church cemetery with preston Funeral Home incharge of arrangements.
