Lewis "Judge" Blevins, 80, died Wednesday, March 3, in the Paintsville Hospital after an extended illness.
He was the son of Elisha Sr. and Lizzie Craft Blevins and was born Nov 5, 1895,in Johnson County. a resident of Paintsville,he was a retired merchant and a member of the Enterprise Baptist church.
His wife, Ola Murray Blevins, preceded him in death on July 30, 1968.
Surviving are a son, Clyde Blevins, of Paintsville; three brothers, Wayne of Paintsville, Shoppel and Elisha Jr, both of Staffordsville; three sisters, Beechie McKenzie, Leah Colvin and Shirley King, all of Staffordsville;
3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, March 5, in the Enterprise Baptist church at Kerz with Reverends Ellis Hamilton, Bruce Daniel and Harold Salyer officiating.
Burial was in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with Paintsville Funeral Home handling arrangements.
Pallbearers were Othie Sparks,Harmon Burton, Homer VanHoose and Robie Crislip.
