CANTON - Mrs. Frances E. Cain, 67, 6494 Valley Dr., S.E., East Sparta, formerly of Cambridge, died Tuesday morning (Oct. 10, 1972) in Aultman Hospital, Canton, following complications due to an illness.
A resident of the Canton area since 1967, she was born in Parkersburg, W.Va., Sept. 3, 1905, the daughter of Mrs. Willie (Leota) Milstead Nutter, Dexter City and the late Jasper Milstead. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Cain leaves her husband, Daniel W. Cain,; four daughters, Mrs. Freda Hood, Cambridge, Mrs. Reed (Wilma) McSpadden, Jerome, Idaho, Mrs. Roland (Eula) Garrett, Coshocton and Miss Glenda Cain, of the home; six sons, Anthony Cain, Warminister, Pa., the Rev. William Cain, Howard Cain and Edward Cain, all of Cambrdidge, the Rev. Daniel Cain and Donald Cain, both of Canton; 22 grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Harvey (Lottie) Woods, Canton, Mrs. Harold (Mary) Province, Parkersburg, W.Va., Mrs. William (Ruth) McConkey, Cambridge and Mrs. James (Florence) Dobbins, California, and one brother, William Milstead, Macksburg. Three brothers are deceased.
Friends may call at Reed Funeral Home, Canton, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Daniel Cain and the Rev. William Cain officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery, Canton.
