Edward E. Cain, Sr., 60, of Chandler, Ariz., formerly of Cambridge, died Monday (July 31, 2000) at his home.
He was born July 3, 1940, in Belpre, son of the late Daniel W. and Frances (Milstead) Cain.
Mr. Cain was a U.S. Navy veteran and attended Pike School and New Concord High School.
He was preceded in death by a son, Edward Cain, Jr.; two brothers, Anthony and Howard Cain; and a sister, Freda Hood.
He leaves his wife, Carla (Burris) Sarchet Cain; four sons, Daryl, Tony and Michael Cain of Virginia and William Cain of Cambridge; two daughters, Mrs. William (Darlene) Breeding of Roanoke, Va., and Kandace Cain of Cambridge; several grandchildren; a great-grandson; three step-daughters; four step-grandchildren; three brothers, the Rev. William Cain of Cambridge, the Rev. Daniel Cain of Louisville and Donald Cain of Canton; three sisters, Mrs. Reed (Wilma) McSpadden of Cambridge, Mrs. Roland (Eula) Garrett and Glenda Cain, both of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews.
