Funeral services for Malcolm George Milstead, 49, Raceland, La., formerly of Cambridge, are set for Saturday afternoon at Falgout Funeral Home, Raceland. Burial will be in that city.
Mr. Milstead died early Wednesday(June 28, 1972) at his home. He was born Aug. 1, 1922 at Parkersburg, W.Va., the son of Mrs. Leota Milstead Nutter, Dexter City, and the late Jasper Milstead, and was a veteran of World War II.
In addition to his mother, he leaves his wife, the former Patricia A. Pritchett; his step-father, Willie Nutter, Dexter City; six sons, Michael Thomas Milstead of Raceland, William T. sic of Cambridge; Keanan J. with the U.S. Navy, Gregory A., Dane C. and Malcolm D., all of the home; one step-son Phillip K. McLain, with the U.S. Navy; two step-daughters, Miss Sheryl McLain and Mrs. Jan C. Thurgood, both of the home; one grandson Michael Milstead, Raceland; five sisters, Mrs. Daniel W. Cain, Mrs. Harvy sic Woods, both of Canton, Mrs. Harold Province, Parkersburg, W.Va., Mrs. William E. McConkey Cambridge, and Mrs. James W. Dobbins, San Jose, Calif. Two brothers and one sister are deceased.
