Clifford Crew, 85, of 145 E. Second St., Oglesby died at 1:40 p.m. Aug. 4, 2003, in Asta Care Center, Toluca.

Private family services will be Wednesday in Shields Funeral Chapel, Oglesby. The Rev. Gregory Jozefiak will officiate. Private entombment will take place in Shrine of Memories Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, La Salle.

Mr. Crew was born June 4, 1918, in Marshall County to Edward and Hazel (Jenkins) Crew. He married Mary Querciagrossa on Jan. 13, 1945.

He worked as a laborer for Marquette Cement Co. and was a member of Holy Family Church and the Holy Name Society. He also was a Cub Scout leader for many years.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Vicki (Howard) Storm of Tonica and two grandsons.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Jackie Pattarozzi in 1973 and one grandson.

Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
